Krause Group to Acquire Majority Stake in Casa Pia AC

Des Moines, Iowa — July 17, 2026 — Krause Group, a parent company with global businesses across sport, wine, real estate and media, has entered into an agreement for a strategic acquisition of Casa Pia AC, reflecting a long-term commitment to strengthening the club while preserving its identity and values.

Casa Pia is a historic Portuguese soccer club based in Lisbon that competes in the Men's Primeira Liga. As part of the investment, Krause Group will also support the launch of Casa Pia's Women's First Team, reinforcing its ambition to expand opportunities in women's soccer while building on the club's proud history.

The acquisition marks the latest step in the Krause Group’s growing international soccer platform, which includes Parma Calcio 1913 in Italy, the Des Moines Menace in the United States, and reflects the group’s broader commitment to the sport’s long-term development globally.
